Fitted the Parrot CK3100 kit and its excellent. For the steering controls I used a Parrot Multican unit specifically for the 3100. Noticed on the spec that other than the CAN hi/low connections it had a K Bus connection as well. This did not appear to be advertised by Parrot even when I spoke to them.

Posted July 23, 2009. First off the CK3100 doesn't support the A2DP Bluetooth profile - so your music would play in low quality mono. Just got my CK3100 & Crutchfield Metra Harness in the mail. Hooked up the harness to get it ready to go, but my question is. The yellow wire that comes off of the " mute " cable of the parrot, you know, the one that has a quick connect on it ?? Where does that plug into. I looked through the book but didn't see. With the Parrot Kits install kit you have to deal with a second white box which allows you to make volume adjustments and also feed their wiring harness into the Parrot harness. Second, I'm getting some engine feedback through the speakers only when using the phone unit (as in the engine "whine" is only there when on the phone).

The software upgrade is performed as follows : Via computer: for the CK3000 software versions prior to 2.11, and for all earlier CK2000 software versions. The speaker +- wires from the Etadyne kit go to one of the Parrot's harness speaker outputs. I chose the front-right speaker outputs, but I don't think the choice matters. Don't worry about polarity, it doesn't matter. If you have a 2003 93SS, you'll need a 1:1 isolation transformer in between the Parrot and the EHU.
